Glenn Greenwald has noticed that the Right has suddenly rediscovered their fear of the big, bad federal government, but only after giving that government the most sweeping powers in American history.  The impetus, or at least this whiny bout's impetus, is the release of a report begun a year ago under the Bush DoJ about the increased danger posed by Right-wing, single-interest groups, i.e. domestic terrorists.  As Greenwald points out, the Right's punditry have poor memories.  Claiming that there would have been no such targeting of one side's radicals, one pundit lnked a Washington Post article that actually mentions a Bush-era DoJ report on 'left-wing extremists'.
